Featured Press on the FW 14 Collection:
The line featured a range of materials, from tweed and wool to linen and leather. Some of the suits were more tame and could be seen on any young, fashionable man, while others were for the more daring of males. Colors ranged from neutrals to bright greens, burnt oranges and teal.

Every Fashion Week everyone seeks to define the line that stands out. The name everyone should be trending. This season Bronze Magazine thinks for the men that Darkoh is “IT!” Hailing from Germany, the contemporary menswear’s owner and designer Joyce Darkoh has created a line that is a diamond of it’s own kind. Like all diamonds, in order for it to be of perfection the fashion line must have the 3 C’s. Well, Darkoh has that and so much more; with the exception that their 3 C’s are defined as cut, color and class. These are the features of the line that stood out and made the line shine just like a diamond.

The collection combines the 80’s pop era with the chic 70’s to redefine a modern trend. The modern look has soft rounded shapes in dense fabrics reflecting a new English beat mixed with New York sophistication. Her use of masculine colors to create a contrast with pops of jewel tones inspired by the Glam movement was done effortlessly. The precise tailoring by combining tweeds and wool with leather, knit and chiffon adds to the elegance of the collection. The slim silhouettes and high end finishes gives the collection a metro-sexual touch which is balanced with English ruggedness. The collection targets a younger clientele with retail prices ranging from $850.00-$1,200.00. The Darkoh brand is one to be recognized and should be on everyone’s radar.

This designer has menswear all suited up! Sauntering down the runway during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, DARKOH models were dressed in handsomely tailored styles from the premier Fall/Winter 2014 collection. Truly befitting of the self-assured man, each look was spot on. Get ready gents, for after you feast your eyes on these outfits you will be begging to get measured. But, wait! Intriguingly enough, these bad boys are actually a retail product–no custom fitting required.

Fashion week as a whole is always crazy, yet exciting and full of inspiration! I was lucky enough to score a front row seat at the Darkoh Presentation. Joyce Darkoh, the designer produced her first menswear line.
